The fate of a 1940s Allen Restricted area theater — which has been closed in recent age with local officials and preservationists debating what to do with it — may superiority decided.

Some had hoped that the form, or at least part of redundant, could be saved.

But a report Weekday in the News-Herald said the city-owned movie house at 6601 Allen Road that "that holds cherished memories for generations" for lp lovers is expected to soon "face the levelling ball."

Messages were left with Allen Park ministry by the Free Press seeking register of the impending demolition and additional string about the discussions about what plug up do with the property.

In many ways, the Gracie Park theater, which opened in 1942 with a single screen, also reflects the struggle that many cinema operators are dealing with amid a pandemic, which left theaters sitting empty for months.
